SAC SPEED RUNNING PROGRAM

ABOUT SPEED, AGILITY & CONDITIONING (SAC)

London Legion's SAC Program helps athletes build SPEED for running 100% maximum up to 60m or 6 seconds.

London Legion Speed, Agility Conditioning (SAC) is unique because our focus is on SPEED. We have core competency in Sprints and coaches with Track/Sprinting coaching experience.  Our coaches also focus on TECHNIQUE.

We also have QUALITY programs designed and developed by Brent McFarlane, the recognized Track & Field authority on Sprints/Hurdles and SAC programs.

ABOUT LONDON LEGION'S SAC PROGRAM

London Legion is a regional leader in Track & Field development.  Our primary mission is to increase participation of athletes and coaches in the London and area region for Track & Field. London Legion, in our first year placed 8th in Ontario and 4th in Ontario for Midget (15and under) and Bantam (13 and under) athletes.

 Many of our track athletes compete in other sports i.e. football, basketball, swimming etc. and have significantly improved their athletic performance. Parents and athletes have requested SAC Programs, from London Legion, to help athletes develop their running speed, agility and conditioning. 

ABOUT BRENT McFARLANE

London Legion is extremely proud to announce that Brent McFarlane has chosen to become Program Consultant to the London Legion Track & Field Alliance. Mr. McFarlane has been a coach on 33 Canadian National teams, 4 Olympic teams, and was Canada’s Head Coach for the 2000 Olympic Games.  He has developed over 39 National Champions and his athletes have established over 22 Canadian records. He is also the author of two books on Sprints & Hurdles and on SAC (Speed, Agility and Conditioning) Training.  Brent has been the SAC Training Coach for the current undefeated and #2 CIS ranked Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks football team from 2002-2005.
 
 In his role as a Consultant to London Legion, Brent will be the architect and designer of the new London Legion Speed, Agility & Conditioning (SAC) Program for Speed Running.  This unique speed and conditioning program helps athletes of power sports, like track and football, to develop skills for speed running up to 60m.  Brent will also be resource for all London Legion coaches.

 Brent is the author of two best selling books, The Sciences of Speed, Agility and Conditioning (SAC), and the Science of Hurdling and Speed.
