1.Before any practice starts ensure with a walk about that equipment and facility is safe for use by coaches and athletes.
2.First aid box has all materials/updated.This first aid club kit has been provided and designed by the fire department for our needs.
3.Ensure communications is established with athletes and parents through personal communications, website, email as to safely procedures.Coaches will coordinate lane use and adjustment needed for training if areas on the field or track are slippery.
4.Coaches will supervise workouts and stop activities that could cause injury due to fatigue or aggressiveness.
5.Should an injury occur, please inform Medical Team Leaders at club practices,Drs. Mark & Cheryl Steckel, Karen Dailleboust R.N. or Collette Tesfaye (see Medical Team Leaders below).
6.Coaches must know health issues of their athletes – Medical Report form needed when joining the club.Medical forms are filed and are available.Club I-Pad, at all practices, will have all medical information and contact numbers.
7.Club will leverage Western Fair Security and Safety Emergency Action Plan through 519-636-1462 Medical & Security Hotline for all Indoor Practices.
